Timeout - Ability to Retry

Should have ability to have another go at the roundup that failed. The time has been invested. I would suggest a number of automatic retry attempts by the system, but then have a way for a manual retry later (from the dashboard or roundup listing).

We have been working on improving the deliverability of roundups generation over the last few weeks, which is why some failed roundups were made available with some delay.

Under the hood, we already gracefully retry everything that we can, but there is still a failure rate of about 0.15% (decreased from 0.75%), which is mostly related to API’s availability.

So, the "Timeout" state actually means "Failed."

We have added an option to edit failed roundups, so you can update product selection and try again later without losing progress.

Appreciate everything being done! It would still be great to have a simple “Retry” option. Admittedly, I’m not saying that I know anything about how ‘simple’ or ‘complex’ this request is ;-)

The option to “edit” failed roundups that involves reselecting the products is almost like simply starting over… just sayin. Selecting the products is often the longest part of the whole process (except for editing the final output inside of Wordpress).

My timed-out roundup was regenerated! Looks like the team is looking into this; yay!

Exactly! I’ve run into this issue after manually adding almost 40 products, and all went south. I have to start over and do the research again…

Yep. I had a 50 product fail & that was aggravating… not really the failure because stuff happens… it was not being able to make another attempt without going back through the entire process. It isn’t just large numbers of products that fail & that’s what prompted this post.
