Custom Cover image and Auto Add 5-7 product images by default
So a single item on the corner doesn’t really cut it for lists or anything outside of single product reviews. Please add the ability to add/upload our own Cover image and for the system to generate an image with 2+ items when it reviews more than 2 items. Have the cutoff point be between 4-7 images so its not to cramp. You could even just go the easy route and have it designate each corner (max of 4 items) when someone choose a list, ranker or any other type of option that is not focused on a single item and it filles in the slots as with the appropriate amount of images.
2 products = images in the Cover image
5 products = 4 products (if the cut off is set to default) for that Cover image
etc etc.

I also need more images option like 10 per post 20 per post so I suggest youto add an api key optional for users who wants to generate more images with their own apis costs or free apis specific to each users own. If the monthly generated images are used up the softwar ethen spends the user own api key to generate images and even articles if it doesnt break your project pricing models. Regards.

You read my mind. I’m changing the status of this to “in Progress”. We’re actually working on this one alongside several others at the same time, but here is how we’ll approach it in phases.
Phase 1: More creative control with a configurator.
We want to keep the focus on products, not have a bunch of random stuff because for people that publish directly to Roundups, it could be a spam party, so we’ll extend the current tool for more flexibility and control.
We randomly generate a cover image. You can edit it as follows:
Pick from different solid color backgrounds,
Randomly generate a collage of the products used in the Roundup. You can "Regenerate" it and it generates a different random collage.
You can pick between 1 / 3 / 6 products to feature on the background, so it’s not just one product in the circle like it is now.
Phase 2: AI-generated image option
We’ll use the content generated to generate a cover image. I would expect some type of limits on generation though per plan, or possibly an add-on outside of some credits given for image generation within a plan. This adds more creative possibilities, but at at a cost for us too.
Phase 3: Upload your own
Because we want to build out Roundups as a community, not just a content export to WordPress, we need more admin in place for this.

We have so much to do, but I promise that the cover image stuff is a top priority. We admit the way it works now needs improvement, but now you have a plan from us that it will improve.
