Clone or duplicate a roundup for a new audience
I’d like to the same roundup with same or similar products with a different voice and benefits on a site for a different audience (dads vs. moms). Ideally, I’d do these back to back while the products/features are top of mind.

We are mid-2025, and I’m posting lots of “25 best in 2025.” We all know how this will look in November. Unless I’m doing a historical inventory, my article is going to look pretty old. Now, if I could use my entire template and edit my title to 2026 with new products in addition or in place of the year before, starting a new year for this type of content would be even easier!

Dated stamped headlines perform well in Google Search. They don’t want to serve up best of 2024 if it’s 2025, but if it’s 2025 and that is in the headline, it indicates it’s fresh content so it’s good for SEO. Then, it becomes stale content, so either edit the headline later on which is what YouTubers do with videos, just generate another Roundup.

Exactly. I was thinking I would have a similar template for the article and would just be able to regenerate it with new products as they are available, with the same brief. But you’re right, if the category isn’t very dynamic, you can just change the headline to 2026, and if there are a lot of product developments, it makes sense to just start over. Having all of last year’s articles on the list of roundups, either way makes it easy to see which ones you did and rerun them.

I just “wrote” a roundup and would have loved to have posted a similar version with at least similar products, but a different voice to another site, but I also then would have felt that I could have a version to post on the Roundups site as well. Currently, I save the content for my own websites.
Roundups do require some effort, even with the idea that AI will handle it all. It would be nice to amortize it over a few other postings.
Thanks for all you do!
