Add Traditional User/Pass Login

Please consider adding a traditional username and password login option to your website. Many users find this method more convenient and efficient than relying on magic links sent via email for authentication.

Possibly, although data suggests that users forget their passwords too, and would use Forgot password to email them anyways and go through a whole reset process.

True, but password managers are much more common nowadays than before. Heck, they’re even built right into the browsers and make auto-login (or 1-click login) a thing…

The “magic link” adds unnecessary overhead, additional steps, and most importantly, too much context switching (bad UX).

This tool is about automating the product review process, yes? If I wanted to automate my process of using Roundup, the “magic link” makes that process more expensive, both in terms of my coding time as well as step execution costs.

Lots of options that offer easy integration out there…

https://clerk.com/ is one that comes to mind, but there’s many…

OK appreciate the insights. I think we’ll definitely consider adding this as an alternative!
